Chevron motor oil

I`ve been using Chevron Supreme 10W30 dino, some guys say to use Delo 400,but I dont carry anything or tow anything so I probably dont need the extra additive of the Delo, right? I have a 1/2 ton 4x2 SWB with a 6 cylinder.

Should be fine with standard Chevron. I think the Delo additives take care of soot but you have enough of those additives for your engine type in the standard oil. I think the Delo might be good for extended drain intervals to keep the base number up.

Ditto. I second rgiles opinion/assessment.

Chevron makes an EXCELLENT product, not to mention I think, though if I'm mistaken I hope someone will correct me, you'd be hard-pressed to find the "Delo" in a 10w30.

Under your "conditions" described, a "quality" product, changed timely, as I know, from getting to know you here, you will do, is MORE than sufficient. - By the way "poopey", where do you live (climate)?
