Piston pin bushing question

i was removing the rods from the pistons on my 360 when i noticed one of the piston pins spun in the rod and pulled out a little bit. i tried to push it back in but all i did was ruin the bushing. i was wondering if anyone has installed new pin bushings and if so how did you do it??? is this something that should be left to a machine shop or can it even be done by the average guy??? thanks

machine shop, needs to be pressed, oil hole fit, then reamed to fit the pin. 35.00 ? maybe for 1 ?

Um, I don't understand how you ruined the bushing pulling the rods from the pistons. They aren't a press fit.
