Broken Trac-Lok
Well. I THOUGHT I was going to rebuild the rear in my Bronco. Got the center section pulled, and the diff case is broken all the way around where the ring gear bolts are.
It made using the TrueTrac on the shelf a no-brainer, except that the axle splines are rounded. Friday night, broken truck. Looks like it's going to sit until the middle of the week, since I'll have to order axles and a diff. It makes my choices wide open.
Anyone have experience with the Strange or Currie stock-type diffs??
I don't think I want or need to go with a locker.
