ATTENTION Lew, Brian & Barry
Do either of you, or anyone else, know if there is a camera repair shop in the Dover, Newark or Wilmington area that works on digital slr cameras?
My biggie digital camera was dropped going thru airport secuity and it fell on the telephoto lense shattering the uv filter. It dented the filter on the edge where it screws into the lense and I can't get the old filter ring off.
I think the camera is ok.

Going to try them out tomorrow.

Good luck with getting it fixed George and hopefully it will not be too expensive.

Thanks Neil.
I actually spoke to the guy, and he told me to take a hack saw to the filter and notch it. I should be able to get pliers on it enough to unscrew it.
Gettin enough nerve to cut it with a saw is now an issue. lol
I'm going to try, and if not go see them tomorrow.

Try a dremel George you'll have more control over it than a hack saw. If you go up, there on the left right after you cross over Chapel St. and Main is a one way street as well as Delaware also
