Please help !!!!!
I have rcently purchased a 1988 f150 2 wheel drive automatic when i bought it the truck was not running but the body and paint were so pretty i bought it anyway thanks to some handy friends and a map sensor, fuel tank selector valve, fuel filter, plugs, wires, dist. cap, rotor button and two tanks of good gas the truck runs itidles so smoothly you cant hear it run at all however when the truck is in gear shortly after second it acts like its running out of fuel any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for your quick response however youll have to forgive my ignorance in these matters as I am a construction worker by trade and know nothing about turning wrenches I could build you a nice garage though haha
I have not checked the fuel pressure but from the sounds of your response that sounds like an excellent place to start .
