I got in my truck after the work and had no AC. There was nothing on the display. I made one stop on the way home and when I started it up everything came on as if nothing was wrong. At first I figured it would be a fuse, but now I'm worried that it may something more serious. Has anyone run into this before? Thanks
I would look at the simple stuff first. I guess you have the electronic controls/display AC panel, so it could be a loose wire or bad ground or a plug that needs to be plugged in a little more. Then I would assume an issue with module that controls the display, I guess it would be incorporated into the GEM.
It's an '06 that has fan/temp controls on the steering wheel, external temp, auto, and 4 or 5 vent selections. Bought the truck used so I'm not sure what the option is called.
