e40d torq converter
hello!!!
i have a 91 f250 7.3 idi it has a lot of miles on the truck and the trans slips in 3rd and od but only when it first shifts in. if i lay into the throttle it shift fine. if i tow its really bad, but after it goes into gear and has some rps it pulls fine. i suspect the tc. i pulled the trans pan and put a new filter on it and there was no clutch material and just normal wear metal on the magnet. any input on this would be helpfull.... thanks
