Best downpipe back system,,,?

Howdo all, I bought a 96 F-350 4x/CC/7.3/ZF 5sp it has 85k on it, and the previous owner had a BD exhaust brake and a GearVendors OD put on and also a 70 hp chip and a new down pipe. He however, didn't change the REST of the exhaust,,, so I am looking to remove the cat and everything else from the downpipe back. Any suggestions?!?!? I have straight-piped my Excursion w/the 7.3, am I looking at about the same note coming out the end?!! I love the sound of my Ex,,,,

Thanks

Joe

I know the latest diesels have catalytic convertors, but is there a cat on a 1996 7.3?

YES. the 94-97 powerstrokes had them. Then i believe the 99-00 7.3 did not Then the 01-03 7.3 did. Then all 6.0's did

Wow--no kidding!

Well, that's why I come here--I learn something every day--LOL.

Thanks, man.
