My cruise has been out for quite some time now. I am leaving to go on a 700 round trip on August 1, so I need to resolve this problem. I know that my clock spring is out, so will the cruise not work until I fix this, or is there some way that I can bypass the clock spring and make the cruise control work? Any info on fixing the cruise would be great. Thanks guys.
Im not sure on the clock spring, but I do know that the following will cause your CC to malfunction:
-3rd brake light being burned out
-the sensor on your brake master cylinder has failed
-for standards, the sensor on your clutch pedal pushrod is prone to going out as well
