Windshield Transport
FTE Family,
I have sold a 1948 F-6 windshield to a fellow in Van Wert, Iowa, and he and I are trying to figure out how to get it from Augusta, Ga. to this small, midwestern town. (The closest city of any size is Osceola.)
UPS wants $42.00 to pack it, and an additional $107.00 to ship it. So, I'm wondering if any of our members might could take it for me on a trip that is already planned.
On the Tow411 website (Towing and wreckers), there is a Backhaul/Transport heading, but their site is now working right now.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
