Firestone owns Bridgestone, but Bridgestone acts as it's own manufacturer. Either way there tires still suck. I apologize for the vugalrity, but when you spend almost $700 on tires you expect to get a little more life out of them than 23000 miles.
Got my Transforce HT's quotes today. The guy that's got my business (tomorrow afternoon) gave me a heckuva cash deal, out the door, an even $300 for a pair. 265's, load range E. That includes lifetime balancing but no road hazard.
Had my weekend fun of pulling out a stuck f350. Stuck in a water hole with a flat rear tire which didn't help at all. Nice and soft rock/sand beach to pull from also didn't help much. Good thing our vehicles weigh so much and the true trac in the back helped pull him out with a few yanks. To bad it didn't do a whole lot, water in his fuel and he was going nowhere fast, lol but atleast I pulled him out of the water hole so that we could get off the beach later that evening.
