I would guess you would never see over 1800*, considering we are watching and concerned with 1250*. You might even get away with 1500*, but I think I would go to the 1800 mark just to CYA
Thx Pat.. The place I found here http://www.performancecoatings.com.au/index.html rates theres to 1000 C. which is 1832 F (thats the black finish) the mirror finish is only rated to 700 c which is 1292 F. Now how hot does the exhaust housing get on the turbo ???
Brian, there was a thread somewhere out there that list post and pre turbo temps.. I would guess that you could average the two temps and come up with a decent, even safe idea, of the temp you need.
