Another Dana 44 question
How much power/torque can a straight axle Dana 44 hold?
Not talking stock, upgraded axle shafts, gears, hubs, U-joints... totally built.
Running 33" tires and 4.10 gears so not a whole lot of strain from there. But a good amount of power from the engine.
Say, 400hp and 800 lbs/ft?

You'd be better off spending the money on a dana 60 than even trying that much torque on the 44. You'll stick a lot of money in something that is not very desireable or near the strength of a 60. Do it once and be done.
