2005 sunroof help

i have an 05 f150 and im having sunroof problems....when i open it, it wont close anymore...could this be a switch problem? relay??

Could be. Get a pin out and jumper the swtich. If it closes, then its the switch. I don't know if there is a relay, but I would ASSume that if there was one, there would only be one relay so that wouldn't be it. Sounds like a switch issue since it functions one way, but not the other direction.

tried that didnt work...and installed a working switch off of my buddies truck and still that same...hopefully not a bad motor

have you pulled the fuse yet?

make sure it isn't blown.

Rich - I am having the same problem and would like to test the relay vs. switch before simply replacing the switch. Will you please send that same instruction to me if you still have the link?
