Expedition Sound System
I was wondering if anybody has upgraded their stereo system, I own a
1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer with the factory Mach stereo system. I want to upgrade it without having to replace many parts. I know i don't want any subwoofer boxes (they take up a lot of room). Has any body added a amp, if anybody has please tell me what kind they have and the performance. Thanks.

I have a 98 EB with the Mach system. I'm assuming that your 99 has the same system. Why would you want to upgrade it? I'm a musician and have a recording studio at my home. I know sound pretty well. I think the Mach system is excellent. Read the post entitled "2003 Audiophile sound system a disappointment". I agree with their findings.

Expedition Sound System
Hello;
I have a 2001 Expedition with the factory sound system with a 6 disc CD changer on. I upgraded it with a new 200 watts power remote control JVC cd player able to play and read MP3 songs and CD R & RW discs. Also a 600 wattts amplifier and a 12" Kiker brand subwoofer for a total of $ 400.00 (Installation included)
I think they are a good deals out there just is matter of what you are looking for.
