5 speedTranny help needed bad
Hi All,
I have a 1988 bronco(full size) with a 302 and 5 speed.
We put a new clutch in it today,got it all back together,and screwed the shifter into the top of the tranny,but now I can't change gears,The shifter is stuck in nutral.It will wiggle put I can't get it to go into any gear.
what did I do wrong/
Please help.
It was fine before I took the shifter out of the top,so I couldpull the tranny for the clutch job.

Maybe something moved while you had the shifter out.
Did you lose any parts?
Did you note all the positions of things when you took it apart?
Pull the shifter and cover (right?) and see if things move around, if you can engage a gear, neutral, etc, then slap it back together.
PITA, but what choice do you have......
