high idle
02 f150 5.4 , have changed mass air and tbps,about two months ago,
just started lsat few days will not idle below 950, and is slow to get ,
to that, clened tb, and changed tbps with the old one, does not help
no codes, needs new air clearer, will get one monday,any thouths

My 2001 5.4 does the same thing, but only when it is hot outside. I thought maybe the computer would adjust the mixture to adjust for the air temp and the amount of oxygen in the air. probably not the case, but I would like to know.
