In April, 1999.. my truck was destroyed in a shop fire. The truck was roasted, and everything on it melted off.
Since then, I have been restoring the truck.
The interior was saved, because the windows were rolled up and the vents were shut, keeping the heat out.
Well, I have been restoring the truck since 2005.
I have been looking for mirrors for the doors with no luck... until a couple weeks ago. I FOUND THEM!!
They were on a website of a shop in England.
So I bought them, they were expensive! The shipping was rediculous.
We finally mounted them today!
The sunlight reflecting off them made them look a little gray in the picture, but they are black.
Look different, kind of like inverted Ranger mirrors. Nice monster truck. I bet the local kids love that thing!
Your hood tilts up in the back too. A guy up here told me you have to move the mounts up or forward or back, I can't quite remember, seems like it was a trick direction. I hate these type of mounts, they make it nearly impossible to get the lines right. Just ask around up here someone will know what I'm trying to say. I didn't want to split hairs, just wanted to let you know that it is possible to fix that gap.

The springs are worn...the hood opens normally, from the front.
Thanks for the comments!
