shop manual dvd
i looking for the factory shop manuals and came across this dvd. will this work? i thought you needed a code to access the ford dvds.

Yes, those can work.. Usually the only glitch (if there is one at all) is that they will be "expired".. Resetting the date on your computer to Jan of 2007 or so can get around that, and then they work fine.. I have one of those discs and keep it in my laptop case..
I have one for 2004.. It's the same info that used be on the web, but is now only accessable by paid subscription.. It includes service information for every vehicle that Ford made for that particular model year.. Focus to F550 , gas and diesel, electrical diagrams, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.. The amount of info on these discs is incredible..

I also have that disc,you only need to reset the date for the disc use then return it once done.IMHO that disc is worth the cash.
