F150 Lift Solution

I have a 93 F1. I want to lift it in order to fit 35's on it. I've been reading and understand that with a 6" suspension lift your gonna want new brake lines and such also a superunner steering system. If I were to do 3" body and 2.5" suspension would I need the superunner kit?

your gonna lift it 6 inches for 35s? im no lift expert but that seems a little much. my truck thats a little low because of old springs can fit 31's perfectly.

but whatever floats your boat....

anyway i think the stock brake lines wouldn't reach with a lift that big. as for the steering, i would imagine it would put too much strain in the stock components.

dont forget with a lift that big to check your DS angles.

thanks. I don't know much about lifts either. I've just read from books to fit 35's i'm gonna want 6". With a 4" suspension would 35's fit?... If so..
What else would i need to modify if i do a 4" suspension lift?

well here is my truck. the front end is sagging a bit.

now its all stock. 31x10.5R15. i can blaze through trails and go offroading and muddin what not. now im not turning you away from a lift but for 35s you dont really need 6 inches. 4 inches should be good, unless your doing some serious offroading.

i dont think anything is needed for a 4 inch lift 'cept a lift kit

you can clear 35's stock but they will rub if you hit a bump...35 in height pretty much means nothing how wide are these tires...

for comparison im lifting the 95 f150 4x4 in my sig 4" front and rear to keep the rake for pulling loads and i am putting 36x12.50 TSLs on it, the tires will fill the wheel wells up pretty good but they wont rub unless under severe flex

a 4" lift requires extended shocks and brake lines but no other mods unless you are into fairly heavy off road where you flex out alot in that case i suggest ext. rad arms but you also have a TTB meaning if you lift if 4" you MIGHT require TTB drop brackets, im not sure on this ive never lifted a TTB axle

if you wheel your truck pretty hard i also suggest a solid axle swap, the TTB is a weak link with big tires and heavy off road abuse but it might hold out
