elec. cooling fan
I just put a aftermarket cooling fan on my gas getter ( 96 aspire 45mpg 391000 miles) I installed it as a puller ( instructions said to flip the blade and reverse the wires ) it blows air into the engine but doesn't pull air through the radiator do I need to flip the blade back or rewire or what thanks

It sounds like you have it wired correctly so it's blowing air on the motor. What you need to control is where the air coming from. It sounds like the blades are drawing air from the side of the fans rather than pulling it through the rad. You may want to clean the rad so air can flow easily and build a shroud around the fan so it can only draw air from through the rad.
