It will more than likely drone a lot and be annoying when towing. If you like that kind of thing ditch the muffler.

It sounds almost like my Banks exhaust, but mine has a deeper tone.

Another note is take these idle, rev up vids with a grain of salt. With an open exhaust a V10 can blow your eardrums out especially at 2500-3500rpm.

I may not do it like this forever, but i am going to pull the muffler and take it for a drive to see if i like it.
what is the best exhaust( cost, sound and power gain) to run on a 2V V10?
do y'all know of egr and cat delete kits for the V10, or would i need to make my own?
I have made my own before for a 4.6, I just want to know what is out there.

I have to have a muffler to pass inspection so I always have mufflers on my stuff. Having no muffler should help in the upper rpm range some because of the decreased backpressure. I doubt you'll notice much of anything except more sound and drone.

usually a "baffle style" muffler will sound the best on a V10, your typical Flowmaster (and FM off brands), or an IMCO style muffler.

This one has a F1 sound to it, very baddass...Emailed the company to see if the stacks could be adapter to an under the truck mount to exit behind the back tires...
