For some reason I smell a fish on this one, maybe its just me but there's some things that just don't fit, so I must aquit !
It seems as though for a starter that the outlined white letter tires turned in would be a drterent for a show car and where did the running boards go !

I pesonally would like and expect a 500 mile car to be stock or at least all stock parts to come with it.

I would for sure Carfax this one. But hey what do I know.

What's the point of having a vehicle that is not a true Collector car and not using it? also the buyer would have to have his own cash as no bank will finance it for $24K+ as its like several times over book value. its not even a diesel or a limited model... it doesn't even look show quality tricked out either

I wouldn't pay that kind of money for it. Not even a Limited If it doesn't fit you must acquit.

Kelley Blue Book says it's worth just a little over $10,000 right now. They do not add any value for suspension alterations. Private party sale, one person to another, is about $8,500.

When I say I would pay top dollar for it, I would easily pay $12,000 to $13,000 for a 2001 Excursion with only 568 miles on it. While I would pay cash for it, my credit union would finance the entire $12,000 or $13,000 if I asked them to.

Well, to me, it's all about the priorities, comfort or needs a person may set in their lives. I just spent $500 today on a 32" LCD HDTV. Why? Just so I could watch my local news every day from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Directv does not have my local channels and I have been watching the local news on a 7" digital TV since all of our local stations moved to digital recently.

A stock 2001 Excursion with 568 miles on it would fall in my "comfort" classification as far as I am concerned. What other good used comfortable vehicle could I possibly buy for $12,000 or $13,000?

It's really a shame the owner invested all that money in a lift, and now expects to recoup his expenditures, something he will never do of course.
