We have an 06 F350 SD Long box, somebody decided to back it up into a trailer sitting next to it and smashed in the passenger side of the box. Have been looking for a new box at a reasonable price but cant find anything decent. Does anyone know of good places to look for one?? From Michigan so I dont really want to go to california to get one. Need help with this one because if we dont find one soon, its getting made into a flat bed, and the truck is one of the nicer "supervisor" loaded trucks (suppose to be mine but i wasnt driving it one day and they did) I kind of would like it back, I am getting sick of driving the 04 F350 with the broken A/C.

Long bed makes life easier. Look in the yellow pages for the places that do truck conversions or sell service bodies. You can usually get a pretty good deal on a brand new 08 /09 bed with tailgate, but it will be white. Bolts right up to the 06, you just have to flip the plug on the wiring and change out the key cylinder in the tailgate so your key works the lock. You can recover some of your money by selling your tailgate.

I doubt you'd want to come to VA but there are two places within about 75 miles of me that have new take-off beds. They are service body dealers like Chris said above. They usually have twenty to thirty beds apiece laying around.
