4x4 w/out electronic bs
I'm looking into getting a tow rig, i've always loved the excursions and the 7.3. I need a 4x4 but don't want that electronically controlled turn dial 4x4 selectors. I've seen too many go out on other ford trucks and i want a lever actuated 4x4 system. Did ford offer this in the excursions with the 7.3 drivetrain? If so what models do i need to search for?

I think your out of luck Mike,,,Pretty sure Excursions only came with the ESOF crap,,,
,,,Im inclined to beleive if you had the the manual transfere case and shifter it can be done,,,I did see a Excursion on ebay with the manual hubs,,and a 6-speed stick tranny,,
,,,but the seller did all the mods to it.
