Nic, I think this has been discussed (or at least asked) before, and IIRC, the answer was "yes, but.....", and the "but" was because of the required time-consuming, complex, and complicated reconfirguration because of all the extra wiring and "stuff".
Personally, I would like to have the same controls in my truck, too, but the answer I saw led me to believe that I was not up to the task, even though I'm sure that there are others who are - you may be one of them.

I heard the same thing. I would really like to have the electronic controls in mine as well.
Here you go, Nic... someone else has already started this process, but still did not have it finished a year later. Lots of good technical detail in the thread, though.
Just getting ready to do the swap myself. Been reading up on it on another F150 site. Not that complicated, looks like only 1 wire may have to be moved for the air to work and adding a couple of sensors and a fan controller. And the wiring may be there in the FX4. Hardest part for me will be modifying my FX4 panel cover. It would be real easy if you get the connectors with the control unit too especially the 18 pin one.
Once I get it working I'll be hooking up my heated mirrors and then the next project will be the memory for the power seats. I'm 6' and the better half is 5' so when she has to use my pos everything is moved.
