ok, here the issue, I have a great set of Alum, solid billet wheels, But there old, and no longer shine, what have any of you done to restone Alum wheels and how did it come out.
Check for a local Wheel and Rim refinish shop locally in the yellow pages. They have the tools and are equipped to do those in a short time. I had some done a few months back locally in Utah, and they were really reasonable, (to me anyway), at $20 per wheel. Besides, my arms or hands didn't ache a bit when I got them back and they looked like chrome!!!

i've had pretty good luck with the Mothers power ball and metal polish, but you may have to work at it a little longer due to the condition of your wheels.
I had the same wheels a few years ago on my 4x4 , brand new they look great and what yours look like now is normal for sev. years of use , problem is they have a factory clear coat on them that will have to be removed first before polishing , another problem is they are not a smooth alum. wheel if you look close the are grooved slightly , reality is it would be cheaper to buy new than strip, polish and clear them , or scuff em and paint em high gloss of your color choice , I did mine gloss black with chrome caps and lugs...
What I did was use Marine Bright, Metal Bright and 0000 steelwool 20 mins later ther all shiny, while this does nothing to protact them, now that I found a way to clean them, I can also reclearcoat them.
