Hello ,
i hope you can understand my school english. And maybe you can help me this my problem.
I drive an Chevy G20 4x4 Quigley , and for the 4x4 they have build an Ford F150 Axel (year1988) under my car. and now my FRONT AXEL TRACK BAR ist brocken. But in Germany is it unpossible to get an new one.
So i hope anybody here can tell me ,
1. if an axel track bar from annother year had the same size an i can use them. 2.maybe anone now a shop they had this axel track bar an shipping its to germany.
The 1980-1996 F150 did not have a track bar, at least in the US. Try and see if you can source a track bar from a 76-79 F150, they will have the strait axle.

Good info. Try RockAuto they will ship overseas and easy to use website.
Wait a second here. Before you order anything from a website, you really have to figure out what you have. All 1988 F-150 had an independent front suspension design called the TTB. It would be an absurd amount of work to put one of these things into a chevy van, so that's probably not what you have. Besides, IFS trucks don't have track bars.
I'm not even going to get into the driver's side axle drop problems that this swap would create.
You need to find an axle identification guide and figure out what front axle you have. What side is the differential on? Is there a cover and how many bolts hold it on? How many wheel lugs?
I can't figure out where you found those numbers, or what they might mean. They don't match anything that should be on a Dana axle, and Ford used only Dana axles until 1998 or so.
