Keep the oil changed per manual. the 4.0L had issues with the chain tensionor causing noise. I think the issue has been solved by 2001, I haven't had any problems with my 4.0L, 79,000 mi, 5 speed manual. It's black but I really like that blue.
No problem with a chain tensioner on the 2000 4.0L, as it has the pushrod engine.
Only 58K miles on it, sounds like you stole that puppy!!!! lol
If you don't know the previous owner, I'd consider replacing all the fluids, then you would be assured it'll likely work real good & last a looooong time!!!
Exercise the 4X4 system once a week to keep it supple & freed up. Check the vacuum lines to the 4X4 system & replace any that are showing signs of dryrot.
