Towing with a automatic
I finally had a b&w hitch put in my truck today. Hooked it to the trailer and it pulled great. My question is, will my tranny be able to handle pulling 10-12k pounds a few times a year?

To add to what was already said.
I would install a trans temp gauge and a pyrometer if you don't already have them.
That way you will know if you have to add a second tranmission cooler and to keep a eye on your egts.

I was in the same boat, put a gauge on and then found I needed an additional cooler.
