What else to replace during new crate engine install?
Well, I went ahead and ordered a new 351W engine from Motor-Works out of Phoenix, AZ. It was $1443.00 and will be here Friday. Below is what I am going to replace to begin with during install. Let me know if anything else is critical. Of course a new gasket set will come with it.
- Water Pump
- Fuel Injectors
- Plugs
- Wires
- Cap and Rotor
- Flexplate
While it is removed I will have the transmission serviced and the radiator flushed and cleaned too. Are there any sensors I might just go ahead and replace while I am at it? I am not wanting to get a ton of money wrapped up in this thing. It is an '89 F-250. Thanks guys!
