HPOP Schematics

Does anyone have separate schematics for the 15* and the 17* HPOP's?
Thanks,

Rog

Hey Rog,

I only have the HPOP coffee table book in PDF. It doesn't sound like that would help you find what you're looking for.

Thanks Craig, I have that as well, I'll take a look see. Something was said on another thread and I don't recall what thread or who said it but it was in reference to a difference between the 15* and the 17* HPOP and it just didn't ring true but that doesn't mean that it wasn't. I just thought I would research it a bit.

I had it all along. If anyone wants it PM me with an E-mail address. That's the only way I can send it. (If I can find it again)

The 17* pump has 2* more angle of the swashplate (total 17*).
It has a bushing for a rear bearing. Oil line fittings are quick connect.

The 15* (total 15* swashplate angle). Rear bearing is ball bearing.
Oil line fittings are flare connections.

2 types of the 15* were made. Has to do with way the oil was returned
to the res. AKA edge filter ipr pump or non edge filter ipr pump.
Pumps were matched to a different type of front motor cover.

Glenn (oldbird) has a story about 15* parts!

In all other respects the oil system is the same 15 vs 17

Thanks Bill, I stand corrected. I would never have thought that they (Ford) would have replaced a ball bearing for a bushing. I supposed cost may have been a factor.
