Nut behind the steeringwheel............... You suck, that was a good shot though. Trying to get to the Fire Dept tomorrow, haven't been in, in a couple month's. Alot more reading and course's to get finished.....

Ck the gear on the end of the cable where it goes into the xmsn, and ck where it connects to the instrument panel?
Or do a search in the year of forum, might have better luck?

All righty then, ck all the grounds and elec connectors associated with it. Fuses and electrical do hickie's, got to have a elec sensor in the xmsn, that might be going bad intermittently.
