'66 Trans swap

My '66 F100 Camper Special has the HD Cruise-O-Matic auto transmission and it's not shifting into 3rd so i'm considering putting in a C-6, i can pick up a C6 for $45-$50 today but wanted to get some advice before i went and did so. My truck has the 352 V-8 and i was hopeing someone could let me know how much of a job this swap will be, is it a bolt-up to my 352? and if not, is there another trans that is.

if the c6 is from a 390,427 or 428, it will bolt to 352. if not, it won't. it is not a hard swap, but you might need drive shafts, mounts and shifter modifications.
