1988 clutch problem
Our bronco has a clutch problem.
It's a hydrolic problem I think.
It was shifting normal, then without warning,I put the clutch in to shift and It won't let go.
I can put in the clutch with the motor running andput it in any gear ,let the clutch out and it will not move.no grinding no slipping like it wants to move, nothing.
It's full of fluid.
Do you think it is the master or the slave cylinder that is inside the bellhousing,i think it's part of the release bearing.
Any help would be great.
It's a 302 with 5 speed.
Thanks Russ
Pressure plate worn or warped
clutch hydraulic system leaking externally or internally
Disc worn or warped
Flywheel worn or warped.
If it's the slave cylinder you have to remove the transmission to fix it.
