4x4 problem...
ok i was driving my 1980 4x4 and i noticed a knocking underneith the seat and i got out and looked the intermediat housing was broken into the only thing holding it is the transfercase and i cant seem to find that housing like i need idk waht the transmision is all i know is it is a 4 speed on the floor with a np250 transfer on it any one know where could get one i looked in all the junk yards around where i live and no one has that part...

I belive that transmission would more than likely be a T-18, T-19, Or a NP435. If you are talking about the pice that connects the transmission to the transfer, I think it is called a transmission adapter. I would try junkyards or maybe ebay. sorry couldn't be more help.
