exhuast heat sheild

Do i need the exhaut heat sheild thats over my strait pipe. Its really pissing me off trying to get the t case off. and im about to rip that thing into little peices.

not really.....

you might be able to just cut some of it out of the way and leave the rest in though. be careful when cutting it not to breathe it in though. ask me how i know......
