suppies needed, plastic wrap, razor blade, 0000 steel wool, trash bags, and ammonia.
step one park in the sun

step two sprap the ammonia on the window tint

step three cover both sides of the window with the plastic wrap or trash bag depending on window size.

step four wait 10-20 min or longer.

step five remove the plastic wrap and try to peel up one side of the tint ( you might have to cut a corner with the razor blade.

step six pull the tint off it should take the film as well as the glue off in one step

step seven if any glue is left on the window take the steel wool with some ammonia and wipe the glue off.

step eight clean the window.
now your done.

you may have to use the razor blade to encourage the tint to come off while your pulling.

Never have used the trash bags idea. Might have to try that sometime. Just took the tint off the front windows of the Mustang a couple of weeks ago. Agree with the razor blades (new and straight and used with care or can scratch the glass) and ammonia use. I just start by getting an edge started and soak along that line between the glass and tint. Use razor blade to help persuade the tint if needed, but if careful and tint is warm, with plenty of ammonia it will come off cleanly in a sheet for the most part. Any glue/residue can be cleaned off with razor blade and ammonia.

it just makes it easier to remove. it heat up the tint while the ammonia soaks in allowing it to come off easier.
