Longish trip
I was a little worried to say the least.
I bought the truck just over a year ago and had to replace some injectors and the icp sensor.
I have pulled the trailer many times but it's a pretty short flat trip.
On this trip there are 4 either long or steep hills, the first being about 20 mins out of town.
I was very pleased with the execption of one issue. I tried to keep the boost around 20 lbs and the rpms around 2500 while taking these hills.
I had no puking, spitting, everything remained intack. Tranny temps stayed under 200*, egts barely hit 1100*
The issue I had was when pulling one long hill and I mean long I got some farting and rather high boost readings. I would back off then give it a little fuel and they would jump again and fart some more. This lasted a bit then cleared up. I am thinking sticking viens on the turbo.
I was pretty impressed throughout the whole trip. Mileage for the trip was around 12 mpg.
