Really like that dash treatment with the hand formed "visor" so
to speak piece. I like that kinda treatment. Things look clean
and simply and well designed.
I like your frame. Did you make that? Maybe you said somewhere,
and I missed it.
I boxed and rebuilt the original frame... it was easy - it only took 4 1/2 years Funny how other projects get in the way...

I'm painting the truck with House of Kolor Tangelo Pearl... since it's a candy flames painted underneath will show through, so i'm experimenting with base colors for an interesting ghost flame.

I considered getting rid of mine a time or two... takes forever and I get frustrated with the one-car garage! I spent most of last Sunday pulling the cab back off of the frame to finish up the firewall and floor. Not easy when there is no room to maneuver. Took some bottlejack and jackstand hijinks
Now that I feel there is good progress, and that I have several boxes of parts waiting to go into it, I wouldn't even think about selling
"I'm painting the truck with House of Kolor Tangelo Pearl... "
ok so i'm thinkin what color is that? I google it and get this....
sweet... very sweet
I hope you dont mind but I like it so much I might use it too.
My truck will be painted HOK Sunset Pearl (PBC-31) which is one shade lighter than Tangelo (PBC-32). This seems to be the year for orange! Engine and tranny is black though...don't want to have too much of a good thing.
sdetweil-
your truck almost persuaded me to go green...
gorgeous, and i haven't seen another one that color.
Tomorrow i get to sit and fill in 38 holes in the firewall and start removing the old paint from the underside of the cab... someone thought it was a good idea to paint over dirt... like chunks of dirt, like they drove it through a mud puddle...
