Thanks everyone for your responces. You gave me exactly the information I was looking for.

John, I am glad I amuse you. How ever, jacking up other trucks and test fiting wheels really isn't an option for me. My truck doesn't currently run. It is a project that I need to get running first before I start dressing it up. But I am always on the look out for a set of tires and rims either when I'm at the juck yard, craigs list, ebay, yard sale or whatever. I just wanted to know what my options were.

Thanks again for everyones help.

Kelly

Glad we have different folk in NC.

John

If I were buying wheels from an individual out here, I'm sure they'd let me try them on before I bought them but very few junk yards out here would give me that option. As for buying new wheels from a dealer, some would let you try it, some wouldn't. Depends on how much you're spending I suppose.

I wanna say up to 2012 or something like that.

Go here for a cross-reference database: Wheel Bolt Pattern Cross Reference Database and Conversion Guide

Be mindful of the hub bore diameter and the lug pattern.

Yes, because Chevy 8 lug will fit a F250-Except for the center (hole) is about 1/16th smaller. I have 4 of these that I have to get to a machine shop to have the centers cut out. ( I figured that a jig saw would leave scratches)-LOL

8 lug wheels on a 6.50" bolt circle: 1948/52 F2/F3 / 1953/96 F250 / 1967/98 F350 / 1969/74 E300 / 1975/2014 E250/350 / 1997/98 F250 Heavy Duty.

F250/350's went to metric wheels in 1999, but no Econoline of any year has metric wheels.

Note: This thread was originally typed 7/8/2009, OP asked about F100 wheels.

Then yesterday (1/23/2017), DisneysPatB asking the above questions.

Whoops! Somehow, I missed that little tid-bit. Well, if someone has an F100, this is a possible option for them.

....back to our regularly scheduled program, already in progress.....

Please refer to my previous post regarding your F250.

According to ND, find yourself an Econoline of any year.... with eight lugs...and pas de deux.

Bet ya didn't think that could ever be posted on a truck site!!!!
