2001 f-150

I have a 2001 F-150 with a 4.2L....Im looking to put another engine in it..Will a 4.6 out of a 2003 match up? thanks for any help...

It would be best if you had the entire donor truck. You will need the ECM from the donor along with the engine. Good luck!
