411 for modulars
well a while ago i posted about an unknown ticking coming from the lower end of my 5.4. last year on the 4th i put new plugs in her. well today 1 year later. only two worked themselves loose. the two in the rear. i guess im lucky that i have a 2004 because they didnt spit and ive been driving with that "whisping" noise for 25k miles. i swore it was a torque converter or a cracked flywheel. the fords never ceises to amaze me! happy fourth of july everyone!!

The inspection plate on the bottom of the trans has been known to make a weird annoying sound. The plate on my dads 03' was making an awful sound so I made a 1/8" aluminum plate up to replace the stock cheesy one. I would also check the torque on your plugs also as it can't hurt to make shure the plugs are torqued.
