My wheelbarrow is still bone stock
Again ? Probably, but thats a tough one for me. When i got it broke in she was pretty good. It has never left me sit even with the troubles, see my post. Problems that were built into it at the factory. I got the 4X4 auto w/ 12,500 tow package and she would do it standing on its head while hauling 2 tons in the bed, absolutely AMAZING. 20 mpg hiway and 14 rural. Once got 19 mpg towing 8500 lbs doing 80 mph for 3 hours straight. You want a "heavy lifter" this thing is the holy grail of trucks. Smoothest ride ive had too. This is my 4th 1 ton second of which is a ford. I still have my mid 90s dodge, too reliable and, considering fords goofing around with mine its a good thing too.

Tough question. My 6.4 has been solid, strong, reliable, smooth, no trouble. I tow everywhere I go so MPG is something I don't really watch. Ranges from 8 to 15. You would not do any better on a stock diesel from any manufacturer right now.
I'm one of the kind of guys that really does not worry about new engine stuff. It is what it is, you know? If you buy new and get a warranty, drive the snot out of it, if it breaks, they'll fix it.
The new SuperDuty's are sweet and you'll be very happy with it. Very comfortable and not "truck" like interior but very "truck" like hardware under the skin.
