'91 headlight problem
Hi guys. When I pull the headlight **** for my parking lights the parking lights and the tail lights go on normally. However, when I pull the headlight **** for the headlights the headlights go on and the parking and tail light go off. I have to play with the switch and find a middle ground where they both work.
Also, if I hit a bump I sometimes lose either the parking/tail lights or the headlights.
I replaced the fuses. I am thinking it is the headlight switch? Where is this located and what does it involved to fix it?

This is most likely the headlight switch. It could also be the connector on the wiring harness for the switch. The switch is located on the back of the rod that the **** is on. You need to remove part of the instrument cluster surround or the dash trim to access the switch. The ***** are tricky to get off. You need a small screwdriver to depress the little tab and then pull the **** off.
