leveling kit

I have a 1986 F-250 2wd with front coil springs. Has anyone had any luck lifting the front? I would like to lift it about 1.5". I was thinking coil spring spacers but not sire they'll work. Anyone?

How is your tire wear right now? If it's good, I wouldn't do it, unless you got it re-aligned afterward. These frontends are touchy as far as ride height and alignment.

Yes I have looked into it multiple times and was able to find one leveling kit (a real leveling kit not just coil spacers) on eBay just do a search and you should be able to find it relatively easy.

I couldn't find anything. I'll keep looking. I wouldn't mind coil spacers. I put a pair in the rear of my H2 and they worked great. I didn't think they would work for the Ford the way the coils are attached.

I remember reading that E350 springs were a bit taller than F250 springs.

You may want to check into a swap.

That kit is for '87 and up. Not sure it will work with the '86. Also, I'm not looking to lift 4" or spend a lot of money. 1.5" to 2" max.

In order to do 2" properly you will have to get new TTB piviot brackets. So good luck
