tranny ???
i just bought a 1990 f150 with a 302 and auto...on the door jam under trans there is a letter "t"...the shift colume has o/d, d, d1...the pan is square with two 45 degree angle facing the passenger side of the truck...can anyone please tell me what tranny i have as the person i bought it from doesnt know and i have looked everywhere...thanks for any help...

I'd say you have a AOD, if it is a push buttom OD on the lever, its a E4OD, the e4od is electronically controlled and is proably better, the AOD is not computer controlled.
