Full Pull

Went back to my hometown for the 4th and they were having a sled pull yesterday. I have never done it so decided what the hell. I didn't think my truck would stand a chance against the others but I was wrong, after I got my 4 wheel drive to lock in (vacuum leak?) I yanked the damned sled clear out of the stadium. Never thought that would happen. 2 others pulled clear out to so there was a 3 way pull off, my truck another 7.3 pushing 400 hp and a 06 cummins with 600 hp. So in the pull off I got third pulled 296 with the weight coming up faster but the cummins pulled 305 and the other p-stroke pulled 300. All in all i am really proud of this truck.

It was a pretty good rush. I am running CAI, Edge Evo, and Exhaust. Nothing to big as of yet but thinking this might be the start of something big.

my buddy at work does tractor pulls with a dodge and its looks really fun! i dont know if he is on here but there is a guy with the screen name of PONTIACROSS over on TDG and he is a very knowledgeable guy in the pulling and just general powerstroke area. give him a shout for any questions you might have. i know you should make sure you have all the rear end work done though. traction bars at the very least but ithink most of these guys have some serious welding done up under there.......
