I just bought a 97 F-350 Powerstroke 4 door Dually. The doors open fine from the outside but none of them open by pulling the inner handle. It seems like a common problem between the cable or latch itself, but its my first Ford Truck. How do i fix it?

 

Pull the inner panels. Find what is disconnected/broken. Go to parts yard or parts store and get what you need. Install the replacement parts. Button up the door.

 

It's odd that none of the inside handles work since the fronts are cable controlled (which DO tend to break) and the rears are controlled by a solid round rod. Do the rears have the "Child Safety" levers that may be flipped? I don't see any references to them in the owners manual.( which, if you don't have one, you can download from the FORD site https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenan...ls/results.asp )
