that is the electric sensor that is attached to the EGR valve-EVP stands for exhaust gas recirculator valve position-so (EGR recirculator valve) hope this helps-there is a teat that can be done on these to check for proper operation-it's a bit too long for here-but it should be in a manual for your truck-if ya don't have one get one-it's a very helpful tool

i figured out what it was from ford fuel injection. but i dont have any of my smog stuff on my truck so i guess i need to get a resistor that shows .50 volts to the computer???
